The last couple of days.

The last couple of days have been very very busy. My friend Jess is moving flats on the weekend so I had to help her find a new place. So on Tues and Wed I was out for a significant part of my night finding places for her while at the same time freezing my ass off in the cold winter air.

Seriously its really really cold here at the moment. The actual temp isn't bad but the wind is ridiculously strong and cold.

My grandma doesn't have a broken back but instead a crushed vertebrae so she'll be out of commission for awhile.

This week at school its been book week so all week long we've had a special Literacy focus. It's been really good and fun but very bitty for our regular timetables. Tomorrow we have to dress up as our favourite fairy story character. Our year group team are going as Goldilocks and the 3 Little Bears. I'm Mama Bear. It should be quite fun. If any picture looks ok I'll perhaps post it.

Here's a question for all you bloggers out there....

What do you do when you want to really rant about something that pisses you off but would upset someone you know reads your blog or that might through a series of friends obtain access to your blog or even if family members have access and read it?

I'm going to guess at you just don't rant about it...but seriously sometimes people in your life everyday just can't be bothered to listen about it anymore.

first of all... weren't you the one who complained about comment verification on my blog? uh yeah...

anyways. about ranting even though it might hurt someone. it depends how much you care, i guess. i try not to rant unless the person has just stopped listening altogether and i don't care what they think. but that has only almost happened once, and i wrote a post that was up for a very short time and then i took down. i cared too much for whoever it impacted. so just be careful you have no idea who might be reading.

Very true - it's scary this day and age who might come across your blog quite innocently. It's quite common to hear stories about how friends, family, coworkers stumble across a blog that was posted quite innocently (or maybe not so innocently)? I went to great pains to try to make my site a bit more anonymous... I don't have the most common last name, and it was scary to think about what a quick google could find.

Your friend Rachel is right - you have no idea who might be reading! (like distand friends you haven't seen or spoken to in several years ;))
